Church House welcomed Andrea Steel earlier this year as a new member of the Client Relations Team in Sherborne.

After nearly twenty years as a private banker, mainly at Hoare’s Bank and SocGen Hambros, Andrea, whose roots are in Devon and Dorset, decided she would like to be part of a private and independent firm like Church House with strong links in the West Country.  “I am delighted to have joined a firm with a client focus that matches my own values. Church House provides an excellent base for me to grow my connections in the West Country, in particular with the professional community in Exeter”.

Following a degree in Financial Services from Manchester University Business School, Andrea has gained a variety of professional qualifications during her career, including the Private Client Investment Advice and Management (Level 6) qualification. These, combined with wide experience in looking after the needs of private clients and their families, amply suit her to continuing in her role as a trusted adviser to her clients with whom she enjoys building enduring relationships.

Church House Investment Management is a private and independent discretionary fund manager focused exclusively on the provision of wealth management services to private individuals, family groups and institutions, such as pensions, charities and trusts. Founded in 1999, CH manages a range of six funds which provide the core building blocks of, and the basis for the essential risk management in, client portfolios; there is a track record for all core investment objectives going back to 2001. With offices in Sherborne and London, the private client team pride themselves on the personal service, expertise and discretion which underpin their relationships they enjoy with clients, some of whom the firm has looked after for generations.
