Cranley Macfarlane

Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Client Director

Cranley joined Church House in 2022, after serving as a fund manager and partner at Tellsons Investors LLP, and before that, as an investment manager at JM Finn.

He graduated from the University of Edinburgh and was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple. Cranley is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is responsible for our Bespoke Portfolio Service.

Joseph Manners

Client Director

As a Client Director, Joe manages private client relationships for a diverse range of clients, including private individuals, multi-generational UK-based families, trusts, corporates and charities.   

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2014, Joe joined Investec Wealth & Investment before joining Church House in 2020. Joe holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4) and the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification (Level 7).

Ben Wilson

Client Manager

As a Client Manager, Ben supports a broad range of private clients, including individuals, families, trusts, and charities, delivering tailored investment solutions aligned with their long-term goals. 

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2020, Ben completed an MSc in International Business at City, University of London before beginning his career in investor relations and ESG consultancy. He joined Church House in 2023. Ben holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4), including the Financial Planning & Advice qualification, and has passed the CISI Private Client Investment Advice & Management examination (Level 6).
